Illusionary wounds gives a message as if it were either shocking fury, blast of fire, explosive frost, or splash of acid. Eventually the target will "realize" that the wounds were illusionary, but oftentimes it is too late. WARNING: While this spell will not kill players in normal gaming it will allow their HPs to fall to 1, and will also allow them to die if used in Arena Combat.
Creatures of the land can die from this spell.
Worth working if you are planning on being in the Duke faction often - a full power Illusionary Wounds, with berserker ring, Duke, and 99%, can give up to 25 HP of damage.
It's low mana effect and long range makes it a very useful "surprise" element during melee combat
