The war mage's school of spells. These spells deal with elemental damage. How to deal damage to others, how to deal damage at a distance, and how to resist this damage from others. A high Mysticism helps the war mages cast their spells better.

Faren gets a bonus from the area you're in. Natural areas like the Beach give the best bonus. Your vigor also gives your spells a boost.

While some of the other schools have a damage spell or two, none can compare to the proverbial artillery brought to the playing field by the Faren mage. From the firewall and the web to the fireball and the lightning bolt, the Faren mage has the ability to the control the battlefield to some degree--force them back and hit them from far away.

While an expensive school, the relative ease of imping plus the farming utility of some of the spells makes for somewhat easy school that can be taken as your last school.
