Hail, Meridianites!

This Tuesday, during the routine maintenance, a patch will be put into place. The download is a little funky, so please take note:

** The first update will make the 3do logo and the normal logon go away. You'll need to select from the pulldown menu, after that the download will be normal. **

This patch will:

· fix the animation bug, go guildhall takeovers will again be allowed.
· Disable all forms of PKK entirely, including the autolog and teleport features.
· Address sound handling to reduce lag
· Remove some 'invisible monster' problems

The patch will eliminate many the major forms of cheating. It also has a load of behind the scenes work to make Meridian run work more efficiently, and the framework for possible server merges. (More info on this will become available AFTER the patch).
