Fairly short update this week We're *this close* to full commercial launch. In the next few days we hope to have the all of the billing infrastructure in place for existing Pre-Launch customers to move over to the new billing system. We'll send out an email announcement to all existing customers to let them know to get on our site and get their billing info entered. Once they do their existing accounts and characters will be carried over into the full commercial launch at the standard pricing of $10.95 per month. Those players that do not sign up for a monthly subscription by the time full commercial launch goes live will have their accounts suspended. Players that don't get in by the deadline will have a short time of suspension before their accounts are deleted. We'll give existing customers about a week to get themselves into the system. Next week's newsletter will announce when new customers can come over to sign up for new accounts. These accounts will have two character slots and will cost $10.95 per month. At this time the game will be download only for new customers until we finish printing up some non-Limited Edition CDs for those that don't want to download. These CDs will be much less expensive than the Limited Edition CDs but will likely not include any special content and will not include an extra character slot. Other big news is that we've partnered with PayByCash to accept subscription payment from customers that don't have a MasterCard or Visa. With PayByCash customers will have the options of paying by direct debit, check, money order, PayPal, Citibank's C2it, wire transfer, or even Western Union. The rates for using PayByCash for a Meridian 59 subscription are $14.95 per month (recurring automatic direct debit option only), $42.95 for three months, and $79.95 for six months. Additionally, Internet Payment Solutions, Inc. (PayByCash's corporate name) will be handling our MasterCard and Visa subscriptions as well, including all billing and account support. For a small company like NDS this is a great relief on our resources and will allow us more time to work on the game and in game customer service. Existing users look for the email to get accounts activated in the new system. Be sure to sign up quickly so that your accounts don't end up being suspended upon the full commercial launch. We are still selling a few more Pre-Launch CDs and accounts. Although the playtime of the Pre-Launch is almost over, the bonus character slot and limited edition CD makes these a great value.
