Meridian 59 is coming back to Germany We're happy to announce that we are in negotiations to return Meridian 59 back to German fans. The game will be run in Germany and translated into the German language. We are confident in the German company's ability to bring the game to market and share the excitement of our German fans! We are also talking to companies in other countries, but no other license negotiation is as close to completion as the German territory. All licensees will run the latest version of Meridian 59: Resurrection and will receive updates and support from Near Death Studios. The gameplay rules will remain the same in all localized versions with the only changes being the game text and commands translated to a local language at the licensee's discretion. 	Brian's Bug Bashing Remember, these changes won't go in unless there's a patch. Watch the globes in-game for whena patch goes in. Players must now take a full penalty death to lose the revenant. This is to prevent "Portal of Life" abuse. Players may still defeat the revenant in single combat. The minimum penalty for a "Portal of Life" death has increased. Rooms now have specific spells and skills which can improve faster or slower. Previously, certain rooms (such as Seafarer's Peak) penalized improves for all spells and skills since they could be used to rapidly improve spells (auto-discordance). These rooms now only slow the improvement of appropriate spells. Some rooms may now even give a slight bonus to learning. Fixed a rentable room bug that prevented you from being able to pay innkeepers for multiple rooms. Previously, any rent you paid to either innkeeper only went to one room. Fixed a bunch of weapon attributes to work now. Specifically, guild hall defenders now list the hall they defend. Change it so that only characters without an angel can rumage around in the crate in CV.
